Our story

Built by club people, for club people.

Community clubs are the heart of local sport — but they run on volunteers, late nights and too many spreadsheets. We're on a mission to give that time back.

Why we built ClubApp

Decades on the committee, not just the sideline.

ClubApp is built by Matt Smith and Jarryd Simister — two people who've spent decades in and around community sport. Between them they've played, coached, volunteered and run clubs across football, cricket, athletics and netball, holding committee and management positions and working at association level.

They know the reality first-hand: phone calls for player availability, team selections on a note pad, chat groups across multiple platforms, memberships in a spreadsheet, a ticketing site over here, volunteers not showing up to shifts, silent auction winners added up on a calculator and so on. So they built the platform they wished their own clubs always had — memberships, events, fundraising, sponsorship, attendance and volunteers, all in one app, fully branded to each club and always free for members.

What we believe

The values that run the club.

Clubs come first

Every decision starts with the volunteers and committees who keep community sport alive.

Fair & transparent

Free for members, no revenue share on fundraising, and pricing you can actually understand.

Simple by default

If your club can't set it up over a cuppa, it's too complicated. We keep it effortless.

The team

The people behind ClubApp.

Built by two people with decades of hands-on experience running community sporting clubs and associations.
