How to use your digital membership card: a member's guide

Your ClubApp membership card lives in the app, so you always have it on you — no plastic card to lose. Here's everything it can do: show your QR for check-in, switch between memberships, drop it into your phone's wallet, see what your membership includes, and even prove it's the real thing.

Finding your card and showing your QR

Open the Membership section of the app and your card is right there — your name, your photo and your membership type, all in your club's colours, with a QR code for check-in. The front of the card reads Tap to show QR: tap the card to flip it over and show the QR full-size, so staff can scan it easily. Tap again to flip back.

No signal? No problem. Once your card has loaded, it works offline — so you can still show it at grounds with patchy reception.

Using it at the club

Present your card at the club for check-in, member discounts and entry. Staff either scan the QR code or read your member number from the card — whichever suits their setup. It's the one thing you show at the gate, the bar and the sign-in table.

Hold more than one membership? Switch in a tap

If you hold more than one membership — say you're a player who's also a social member, or a parent covering the family — tap the pills above the card to switch between them. Each membership shows its own type, benefits and QR code, so you always present the right one.

Add it to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet

Want it even faster to reach? Just under your card, tap Add to Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Add to Google Wallet on an Android phone. The button shows Preparing… for a moment while your pass is created, then your phone opens it to add. The pass carries your membership type, member number, joined and expiry dates, and the same QR code you use for check-in.

From then on you can open your phone's wallet and show the pass without opening the club app at all — staff scan the QR just as they would in the app. You'll only see the button that matches your phone.

See what your membership includes

Scroll below the card to Member Benefits to see exactly what your membership comes with — a free drink, discounted entry, a members' gift. Some items show a quantity (how many you get); others are marked Redeemable, meaning you claim them at the club. Your benefits are set by the club and depend on the membership type you hold.

Prove your card is the real thing

Because a screenshot of a card can look convincing, there's a quick way to show yours is live. With your card open, give your phone a gentle shake — a green Verified Authentic tick appears with the words Not a screenshot, then fades away. Only the genuine, live card can do it, so it's a handy way to reassure staff your card is real.

It all lives in My Wallet

Your card isn't off on its own — it sits inside My Wallet, an always-on hub on the app's bottom bar that keeps everything in one place. The same screen holds your event tickets, any multi-visit or season passes and your saved payment methods, plus a Club Cash balance and sponsor vouchers when your club turns them on. A branded card in your club's colours up the top shows your membership status at a glance. For the full walkthrough, see our guide to your My Wallet.

Joining or renewing

New to the club? The Membership section shows a Join screen — tap View Membership Options to browse what your club offers and buy the one that suits you. Some clubs approve new members first, so you may see Pending approval until they do; after that your card and benefits appear. Renewals and other actions — a new membership category, or a club form — sit under membership services in the same section. You pay securely by card in the app, so there's no cash or bank transfer to sort out with the club.
