Your membership card, now in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet
Members already keep their boarding passes, coffee cards and concert tickets in their phone's wallet. Now their club membership card can live there too. With a single tap, your members can add their ClubApp card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — ready at the gate, the bar or the sign-in table without ever opening an app.
Where your phone already keeps the important stuff
The digital membership card has always lived inside your club's app. That hasn't changed — but now there's a shortcut for the moments that matter. On the membership card, members simply tap Add to Apple Wallet (on iPhone) or Add to Google Wallet (on Android), and a membership pass drops straight into their phone's wallet.
From then on, it's a double-click of the side button or a swipe up — the card is there, next to everything else they reach for a dozen times a day.
What's on the pass
The wallet pass carries the details a gate volunteer or bar staffer actually needs:
- Membership type — their tier, like Gold Member or Senior Player
- Member number — their unique club membership ID
- Join and expiry dates — so it's clear the membership is current
- The same QR code used for check-in inside the app
It's the same card, in a second place — not a stripped-down copy.
Made for game day
Match day is exactly when phones are busy, reception is patchy and the queue is long. A card in the wallet is built for that. Members present it at the club and staff scan the QR code or read the card number to handle:
- Entry at the gate
- Member check-ins for events and the clubroom
- Member discounts at the bar or canteen
- Sponsor loyalty — showing the card when shopping with club sponsors
Because the pass sits in the wallet, there's no hunting for the app, no login screen, no loading — just show the QR and keep the line moving.
And if the wifi's down? The in-app card works even without an internet connection — handy in clubrooms with patchy reception. Members can open the app and their card is right there.
Still unmistakably your club
This isn't a generic grey pass. Membership cards are designed in your club's colours and branding — the same look members see in the app — so the card in their wallet still carries your name and your identity. Clubs choose the card's style and design from the dashboard when they set up membership types; the wallet pass follows suit.
Nothing extra for members to figure out
There's no new system to learn. Members who already have a digital card just get a new button under it. Those joining or renewing get their card the moment their membership is approved, and can add it to their wallet on the spot. For the club, it's one more reason the app becomes the thing members actually reach for — at the gate, at the bar and on game day.
