New in ClubApp: smarter team chat, family accounts and a better club shop

We've shipped a lot lately — most of it aimed at the same thing: less admin, fewer group chats, and more of your club living in one app. Here's what's new, and why it matters.

Team chat that actually does something

Team chat used to be for talk. Now it does the work too. Type # to attach a training or match and teammates can RSVP right from the message — no separate reminder, no chasing. Mention someone with @ and they get notified, so the message that matters doesn't get lost in the scroll.

• React to a message — and tap the reaction to see who reacted
• Press and hold to copy a message
• The composer grows as you type, so you can see the whole message before you send

Message anyone, one-to-one or in a group

You can now message coaches and managers directly, and admins can start a conversation straight from the Chat screen — search a person for a 1:1, or pick a few to start a named group. Coaches and managers can spin up a group chat for their own team. And @ mentions and # event links work everywhere now, not just in team chat.

Family accounts for junior sport

Junior clubs asked, so we built it. A parent and a young player can now jointly manage one account — both can RSVP and both get reminders, so a game never gets missed because the wrong person had the phone. Invite a parent to help manage an account, or let your child sign in to their own, and choose whether a guardian joins the team chat. When a parent RSVPs for a player, everyone can see who set the response.

Notifications on your terms

More club in one app only works if it isn't a firehose. So you can now mute a team, choose which types of notification you get, or only hear from your own teams.

A club shop worth browsing

Choose pickup at the club or delivery at checkout, and get notified the moment your order is ready to collect. Preorder items that are out of stock, spot New and Sale badges, browse as a list or a grid, and see everything in your club's own colours.

Smoother events

Editing an event's time or location no longer clears everyone's RSVPs, you can change the RSVP response type when editing, and event notes now show right on the event page.

All of it ships automatically — ClubApp updates over the air, so your members just open the app and the new features are there.
