How to buy and use your club event tickets: a member's guide

From match-day functions to trivia nights and the presentation ball, your club's events all live in one place in the app — and so do your tickets. Here's how to find what's on, book your spot, and breeze through the door on the night.

See what's on

Open Events from your club app to see everything coming up — match days, socials, fundraisers and meetings. Each event shows as a card with its date, start time and location. Search by name or location, narrow to Upcoming, This Month or All, and tick Available to hide anything sold out. Prefer a month view? Switch between List and Calendar — the app remembers your choice.

Every card carries a badge so you know where things stand at a glance: Free Event, Tickets Available, Few Tickets Left or Sold Out. Some events have unlimited tickets and never sell out.

Buy your tickets

Tap an event to open the full details — date and time, photos, the location (tap Get Directions for maps) and a description. Scroll to the ticket types, each with its price and how many are left, then:

  • Use + and − to choose quantities. Some events set a minimum or maximum per order, and some ticket types are marked Members Only.
  • Tap Continue to Registration and fill in the attendee details. Booking for a group? Copy from Ticket 1 reuses the same details instead of retyping.
  • Check your Order Summary, tap Add to Cart, then check out and pay securely by card. Your tickets are issued the moment payment goes through.

You'll need to be signed in so tickets save to your account — if you start signed out, the app keeps your cart and brings you back after you sign in.

Free events? Just RSVP

Not everything costs money. Free events skip the checkout entirely — open the event and tap Register for Event if the organiser needs a headcount, or RSVP if they just want to know you're coming. For online events, you'll get a meeting link after you register. Plans changed? Open the event again to update your response so the count stays accurate.

Find your tickets in My Tickets

Every ticket you book lives in My Tickets, reached from the Events page. Use the Upcoming and Past tabs to switch between events still to come and ones you've been to — tickets are grouped by event, so all your tickets for the same night sit together. Each ticket shows the attendee's name, the ticket type and its own unique QR code.

  • Download saves a ticket as a PDF for offline access.
  • Share sends a ticket to someone else — handy for passing a group member their own ticket.

A ticket booked with, or shared to, your email address appears in My Tickets automatically the next time you sign in — there's no code to enter.

Your tickets in My Wallet

Your tickets also live in My Wallet — an always-on hub on the app's bottom bar that keeps them alongside your membership card, any passes, saved payment methods and, where your club enables them, a Club Cash balance and sponsor vouchers. Upcoming tickets always show their QR code, ready to scan, while tickets for events you've already been to tuck into a tidy, greyed Past tickets section so your current ones stay front and centre. For the full tour, see our guide to your My Wallet.

Check in at the door

On the night, open the ticket and show its QR code to be scanned at the door. Once you're in, the ticket shows a green Checked In tick, so you (and the organiser) can see it's been used. It's the same quick scan whether you show it from the app or a downloaded PDF.

Keep the dates in your own calendar

Rather than checking the app, you can pull your club dates into the calendar you already use. Tap Subscribe to calendar on the Events page, pick Apple, Google or Outlook, and your feed brings in club events, your team's trainings and matches, the tickets you've booked and any volunteer shifts — kept up to date as things change.
